Fire Alarm Installation in New Braunfels

Choose Fire Detection That Fits Your New Braunfels Property

Proper fire detection begins with equipment selected and placed for the property it serves. Lowry Electrical provides fire alarm installation in New Braunfels and offers smoke detector installation for homes. We’re a licensed and insured electrical company serving homeowners and business owners.

Smoke detector installation isn’t a do-it-yourself project. Home detectors and larger fire alarm systems involve different equipment, design considerations, and compliance requirements. A home may need interconnected alarm units, while a larger system can involve detection devices, fire alarm panels, notification devices, and a monitoring connection.

For homes, we recommend smoke detectors on every level and in every bedroom. Business owners may share property details through our contact page so we can determine whether the inquiry concerns individual detection devices or a larger system subject to additional registration, inspection, and monitoring requirements.

What a Fire Alarm Installation Evaluation Addresses

An evaluation first determines whether the property needs home detector coverage or a larger fire alarm system. Planning then accounts for required detection coverage, device placement, notification needs, and whether monitoring forms part of the system.

Important installation considerations include:

  • Property Type: Homes and commercial properties can be subject to different design and compliance requirements.
  • Device Coverage: Placement must account for the areas where detection and occupant notification are required.
  • System Connections: Panels, notification devices, and monitoring connections require planning beyond standalone detectors.
  • Testing & Documentation: The applicable inspection and testing records depend on the system and the authority responsible for it.

If an electrical contractor performs fire alarm work under an applicable Texas licensing exception, a registered fire alarm firm assumes responsibility for the installation, performs the required inspections, and documents them.

We also provide 24/7 emergency electrical service. This availability doesn’t replace routine alarm testing, required inspections, or the response provided through a registered alarm monitoring station.
